The Key Requirements for the DESY Summer Student Program are as follows:

The applicant should have an academic background in Physics, related natural sciences, or a major in Computing.
The applicant must have at least 3 years of full-time study in a university.
The applicants are also eligible in case they enrol in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the Summer of 2025.
The applicant must not have completed the Master's degree by Summer 2025.
The applicant should not have had previous DESY summer student experience.
The applicant should not be enrolled at a university in Russia or Belarus.
Applicant must enrolled at a university full-time throughout the program.
A good command of the English language will be required.
Basic computing skills are also a necessity.
Applicant should be free from July 22 to September 11, 2025.
